Egyptian Project Reflection
The activities that helped me the most for this project was probably the videos and reports we did in class. I would have liked to known more about the beginning of Egypt and the challenges they went through to make it a sustainable place. Not only political problems to overcome but also the shear hardness of gaining power in a new area in. I would have also liked to learn more about the mysteries of Egypt, sort of like the mystery on how Tutankhamen died or who Unknown Man E really was.. Our group on a scale from 1-10 was a 8.5 in terms of working together. There was the occasional laziness in some members but we always pulled it through. I actually do not think everyone had a fair share in both projects. I felt like I was totally responsible for my group and that I kept finding myself making up their work and let alines my work. If I had a choice to redo the project I would think of a more simple story for the play. At one time we had needed to start over our script because it was to complex. I would have also made it clear to my group that I would not do some of their work for them. I think our project was successful because we pulled through every challenge we faced and we all produced a pretty good product for our play and our report. We had also worked together pretty well and we all got a little closer in friendship during this project. This project taught me a lot about Egyptian life and how to work well and better with a group of four people.

Group Dynamics
Group DynamicsWhen I enter into a group project I usually take place as a director. I always want to take leadership in a group instead of being a follower. I take the role of a director in groups because I think I have good ideas and I like to be in charge of people and groups. In the past I have also been let down by directors and I don't want that to happen to my group members and myself. When I am a director I feel that things run smoothly and well. I do like working with my friends though, there are probably more cons then pros in this case. This is because I feel that when you are working with someone that you are close to you are more apt to get in an argument. To solve group conflicts I usually just try to incorporate other ideas into "the plan" of what we are doing. If someone else starts to dominate the group, I usually just ask them politely to stop (since I am usually the director), then I try to incorporate what they want into our plan. If they won't stop I will remind them that I am the director and I am the person that everyone chose to be in charge of the group. The most difficult group situation I have ever been in was when we were doing a Battle of the Hominids video when some members of the group were not doing their job, this through off the whole project. We got through though and we ended up being the winner of Battle of the Hominids. Overall, though, I think that I have been a good group leader in the past and I hope to be a good one in the future to.
